VIDEO OPTION DETAILS

With a range of video packages tailored to showcase the talent of every skill level, Gemini Daze ensures each dancer's unique abilities shine through! Please see below for a description of what to expect during the filming process with each package option:

DAYDREAM DELIGHT

VIDEO FOOTAGE SHOWCASING YOUR ORIGINAL CHOREOGRAPHY OR FREESTYLE (REAL TIME, SINGLE TAKE VIDEO WITH NO CUTS OR SLOW MOTION - BEST FOR EXPERIENCED DANCERS)

  • This package option is meant to capture your raw, unedited choreography or freestyle from start to finish. The final video will feature your favorite, single take with no cuts, slow motion, or rearrangement of clips.

  • During your 1 hour private session you will have some time to change, warm up and get started. Once we are ready to shoot, we will do a few test runs to review the lighting & get used to working together and then we can just go with the flow! When filming, the goal is to just 'do your thing' and it is my job to get your angles and capture your essence. Some people like to focus on eye contact and camera presence, but my suggestion is to do whatever will allow you to get into your true flow and comfort. Videography is also a bit different than photography, in that we rely on full transitions, flow, and natural feeling movement rather than posing and focusing on angles.

  • For the Daydream Delight video option, we will do full song run throughs (from start to finish without stopping) in which you perform your routine or freestyle to your final songs of choice. We will play your song choices during filming, so please make sure to create a music playlist that includes your final song(s) of choice.

  • After our session, I will send you the unedited takes for you to select your favorite. Please note that this option choice only includes basic editing (color, touch-ups, etc.) and does not include any cuts, effects, or slow motion.

  • Because this option aims to capture your raw, unedited choreography from start to finish, it is typically recommended for experienced dancers.

  • When selecting this option, please just make sure to practice your routine to a level where you feel most comfortable!

HEAVENLY HIGHLIGHTS

VIDEO FOOTAGE THAT INCLUDES CUTS, SLOW MOTION, AND IS FULLY PIECED TOGETHER & STYLISTICALLY EDITED TO YOUR SONG OF CHOICE (SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS AND ABOVE)

  • The Heavenly Highlights package is geared towards capturing your true essence and bringing your performance to the next level! Because this package offers the option to have your video footage creatively ‘puzzle pieced’ together, a fully prepared choreography is not required.

    • Note: You may also select this option if you wish to feature a choreography with edited cuts or slow motion/effects.

  • During your 1 hour private session you will have some time to change, warm up and get started.   • For the Heavenly Highlights video option, you may perform your favorite moves and sequences in any order and/or at any pace you prefer (unlimited takes for long & medium videos, 1 take for short videos). For example, you may choose to repeat certain moves or sequences multiple times in a row, stop and start at any time, trial and error certain angles, or engage in any other filming style that suits your specific needs (it will all be cut & edited together anyway)! When featuring a specific choreography, you may also choose to film it in parts.

  • During filming, we will play your music, so please make sure to create a music playlist that includes your final song(s) of choice.

SHORT VIDEOS

(15-20 SECONDS)

  • Both the Daydream Delight & Heavenly Highlights packages include the option to film multiple shorter videos (15-20s each) instead of compiling all of the session footage into one longer-length video (60-90s).

  • How many short videos can I film in one session?

    • Standard packages (1 hour sessions) include the option to film for 3 or 4 short videos. The final number will be determined based on the clients desires (whether 3 or 4 is desired) and any time restrictions imposed by the specific project details (i.e. time spent changing outfits, filming any extra takes, etc.).

    • Please note that the final number of videos must be decided/finalized prior to filming. Depending on project details, we will typically do 1 song run-through or take for each short video (extra takes are available when selecting 3 final videos as long as time allows).

    • Based on experience, it is typically suggested to plan for three final videos, and only film for a fourth if things go smoothly and there is extra time remaining.

  • During the shoot, we will play your selected songs for each run-through/take. Please make sure to prepare a playlist for your session that includes the song choices for each Reel/video.

  • During the shoot you may change the background light color as many times as you would like. You may also change your outfit once or twice, as long as time allows! Outfit suggestion: If you would like to feature multiple outfits, it is highly suggested to prepare something with layers, or that can allow you to change as quickly as possible!

‘THE GEMINI DAZE’

Custom video option designed to curate your unique vision. Includes pre-shoot discussion & creative planning, extended filming time, and opportunity for collaborative editing . *Available for private booking only.

  • ‘The Gemini Daze’ option is meant to help bring your specific vision or creative idea to life! This option includes an extended time slot with unlimited takes, up to three light "sets" and lighting effects (if desired), and a pre-shoot planning session for all project details. Once booking is confirmed, I will reach out to you to get started with the overall planning process.

  • This option is appropriate for those who may have a specific 'theme’ in mind that may require lighting adjustments, specific cuts or editing styles, or if you wish to participate in the editing process.

  • This option is also recommended for doubles performances or any choreography that may require wide angle shots aimed to capture dancers in separate areas/poles, as I most likely will need extra time to adjust the lights & equipment several times during our shoot.

CUSTOM OPTIONS & COLLABORATIONS

Although the standard video options described are designed to elicit a smooth, generalized filming experience for pole dancers of all levels and abilities, I am always open to other ideas and creative projects! Whether you have a unique idea in mind or would like to customize one of the standard options, I am fully open to working with you, your ideas, and your budget!
